Notice of Spring Election

Election Day Polling Places​

Important Dates:

 

    November 26, 2024 - Publication deadline of Notice of Spring Election (Wis.  Stat. 120.06(6)(b)(1)).

    December 27, 2024, 5:00 p.m. - Deadline for incumbents to file Notification of Non-Candidacy

    January 7, 2025, 5:00 p.m. - Deadline for candidates to file Declaration of Candidacy (EL - 162sd) and Campaign Registration Statement (ETHCF-1) forms.

 

    February 18, 2025 - Spring Primary (if needed)

    April 1, 2025 - Spring Election

 

Persons wishing to run for one of the two (2) Board of Education positions in April 2025 must submit all necessary paperwork (Declaration of Candidacy (EL-162sd) and (Campaign Finance Registration (ETHCF-1)) no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.  The Declaration of Candidacy requires notarization.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  The District Office will be closed December 24-25 and may have other reduced hours for Winter Break.  Regular business hours for the District Office of the School District of Tigerton are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ballot Access Checklist (ELIS-5)

Checklist identifying forms that must be completed and filed on time by a candidate for School District office in order for the candidate's name to be placed on the ballot at the February 18, 2025, Spring Primary (if necessary) and the  April 1, 2025, Spring Election.  (PLEASE NOTE: Nomination papers are not applicable for SDNB elections.)

 

Declaration of Candidacy (EL-162sd)

Any person wishing to be a candidate for the office of school board member and to have their name appear on the spring election ballot (and primary election ballot, if applicable) must file a notarized Declaration of Candidacy by  5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.

 

Campaign Registration Statement (ETHCF-1)

Any person wishing to be a candidate for the office of school board member and to have their name appear on the spring election ballot (and primary election ballot, if applicable) must file a Campaign Registration Statement by    5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.

 

Wisconsin Ethics Commission - Campaign Finance  

By law, individuals and political action committees are limited in the amount of money they may contribute to campaigns.  Committees receiving contributions must report them by specific deadlines.  Please follow this link for information about contribution limits and reporting deadlines.
